As well as designing the user experience, I also enjoy crafting HTML / CSS high fidelity designs and final products.
Here are a selection of websites that I've created within the last year.
A great business idea for a food delivery service. The branding was on point and this really bled over onto the site design.
With a sticky header I ensured the order menu was easily accessible at all times while leading the user from order to checkout.
This was a lot of fun to work on, A site to enable parties during lockdown. The bright branding lead me to figure out some fun animations and bright graphic design.
Visit SiteThe challenge of this website was a lack to content and some poor quality images to make use of. For this reason I focused on the attractive book cover, placing it on book mock up graphics.
Following the best principles for novel landing pages, the rest of the site fell into place rather well.
A site that needed a facelift and an eCommerce online shop functionality added. The illustrated branding was right up my alley and I went for rustic textures and nice chunky content to aptly reflect the products on sale.
E-commerce site not yet launched.
Hope4life NI had an existing site that had not aged very well. Fortunately, a rebrand gave me a great lead in for designing a facelift. After some research I noticed how striking the statistics were. Therefore, I give them more of a spotlight on the home page and added some animations.
Being very text heavy, I spent time figuring out how best to display the information so as to not overwhelm the user and bring them quickly to the information they needed.
Visit Site
Chaka Travel presented a challenge of offering predominantly golf holidays but also highlighting weddings / honeymoons, tailor-made and sports holidays. We found that the search became more and more important and this led us to revamping the homepage to make the most use of this. Constantly revamping the user journey was a fantastic experience as people could arrive at offers from multiple ways and the hotel pages, golf courses, offers, destination pages all had to be interlinked.
Visit SiteOne of my favourite projects was working with the Integrated Education Fund to create their One School Of Thought Campaign. This was way back when I was selected for Fresh Made Media's internship programe and given the lead design role. I met a lot of great people and learned a lot.
The first game that got me into the board gaming hobby
was Monopoly (love it or hate it). My cousin brought it out
and I played the first board game in years. I decided to buy
a copy for my own and looked for a Harry Potter version
only to discover that there was none!
Rather than buy another theme of the game, the only
sensible solution was to spend the next 3 months evenings
designing my own Harry Potter Monopoly.
